I was sitting on the deck today enjoying a warm spring day with the Zs. Both of them were vying for position on my lap. It was too funny. It was as if they were playing Twister. Zora sat down first in my lap. Zeke then came into my lap and stood right over Zora with his forelegs on one side of her and his hind legs on the other side. Not to be outdone, Zora pulled herself from underneath Zeke and cranked her neck around almost 180 degrees so her head was then on top of Zeke's back. I couldn't stop laughing at the two of them. Then they both decided to rear up on their hind legs, place their front legs on my chest and try to see who could give more slurpy kisses. Zeke, being a bit taller had an easier time, but Zora is very persistent!
What a wonderful, sweet, funny story. I can just see the two of them. Sometimes it hard enough with Schatzi trying to find the right spot on my lap so she can make sure she is getting the most of my attention and making it difficult for me to read, type, eat, or anything else but pet her! Two would be really interesting.
I think it is wonderful that you are once again having the pleasure of two younger doxies after having the joy of the sweet Senior Years of Rudy of Max. This should be a fun, fun summer.
