Title: The Dog Whisperer
Post by: hazeldazel on September 02, 2005, 10:05:22 AM
Anyone else watch this show on the National Geographic Channel?  What do you think?  Any thoughts, comments, criticisms?

This is the first time I've owned a dog, and the concepts/philosopy that the DW teaches are interesting and new to me.

He reminds me of the Nanny 911 for dogs :)

Website for those interested.

I personaly think he's awesome. I only wish I could get him here to work with Billy. I have used many of his technique's with my fosters and they work.

I watch the show and we have used a lot of his advice and seen major improvement in Hunny! Our main problem was her walking on the leash with us walking her not her walking us!

I love the show too.  I get lots of tips from him too.  He makes it looks so easy to train a dog.  Although I would love to see  him work sith a stubborn doxie.  :2funny:

We have such a hard time walking Cookie on the leash as she loves to run.
