Science Diet Wet food is now on the recall list. You all be careful feeding any wet foods for now anyway you may consider cooking for them till this is over.

Oh Crud! Science Diet was the food I bought to replace Nutro Natural Choice! I am now feeding Ozzy hamburger, green beans, and scrambled eggs.
Does anyone have any other food ideas to replace commercial dog foods until the problem has been found and the pet food has been deemed safe?
What scares me is that, not only have our furkids been put in danger, but people can be in danger as well. We would probably be shocked at the number of people who have to eat pet food just to get by.
I personally do not feed Grocery store brands to my Fur Kids never have I fed Candaie All Life Stages then since Gizmo is so old & picky I cook turkey sausage,sausage,chicken,liver,chicken livers not all together but change it around. then I add about two Table spoons to Gizmo's food, one or two crumbles to Patches food since I'm trying to get weight off her,Buddy gets a few crumbles of what ever I cooked just for smell.Then I some times add eggs to Patches & Buddy's food Gizmo would not touch an egg with a ten foot pole.If you are interested in good foods for your Fur kids see if you can find Whole Dog Journal 2007 approved foods I can go to Dobe talk and copy the site I was looking at last night gives a whole list of foods and reviews about the food.Very interesting to read and educational too plus I have a personal gripe about Science Diet anyway all the vets sell it shame on them if you look on the bag first ingredient is corn in most cases well the first ingredient makes up most of what is in the bag.Corn is very hard to digest plus corn,wheat & soy causes allot of allergies in dogs.
