Penny here...The man in the brown van arrived at my house with a box that had my name on it! I told mom it was just for me but that she could help me open it. Boy oh Boy was it a great box. It had treat and toys and a hat for me. My mom got a great frame and some ribbon and some really cute salt and pepper shakers that look just like me! Thanks so much Berman and Lucy (and Jenny) for an awesome box! It was worth the wait.
Kari here...thanks so much Jenny for a great box. I love everything - the salt and pepper shakers are so cute and Penny is in love with the fire hydrant toy! Thanks again!!
More Pictures of Penny and her box...
:hello2: :hello2: Wowwie Penny...you are right...what an awesome box of treats and goodies!!!! :apls: :apls: So nice of Berman and Lucy (and Jenny) to send you such a wonderful box!!! You sure are looking great and doing so well...we are all proud of you.... :headbang: I love the pictures of you in your pretty green hat....what a lovely girl you are!!! :thumb:
What perfect timing for a treat box-just when Penny is probably bored with all of her other toys. The Fire Hydrant looks interesting. I may have to look for one of those. Love the salt and pepper shakers!
Hope you have fun playing with everything Penny. The best part is we can watch you on the Penny-Cam!
Are'nt you a lucky girl. Enjoy sweet pea.
Da gang

WooHoo! That is a great Treat Box! If any of our dachsies are deserving it is you Miss Penny! It is just wonderful to see you up and about and doing well. Enjoy every bit of it sweet girl!
I LOVE the salt and pepper shakers!
WOW oh WOW - you scored big time !!! Love the box !!! LOL - did Lucy throw her hat in the box at the last minute ?!?!?!? (I thought that mom had said she hated it !!!!!). If not, then Lucy and Penny can be twins wearing their cute hats !!!!!
Fun - fun for Penny !
And.... I LOVE the salt and pepper shakers !!!
So glad you liked everything, Penny! Lucy and Penny look a lot alike so of course we had to get Penny a green hat too! (Tip: I had to wrap a rubberband around Lucy's to get the bill curved just right.) The treats in the brown bag are from the Dog Dish - a really fancy little pet shop in Tulsa. Berman and Lucy LOVE their homemade treats - especially the pizzas! The fire hydrant thing was weird - it makes "city" sounds - or something birds chirping and something else - maybe cars? I'm not sure - just thought it would be fun to have something other than a squeaky toy! Yea! I can't wait to put together the next treat box!
Wow Penny, you really scored!!!
Hee Hee - the bill on the hat is a bit straight ! She is in love with the fire hydrant - if you log on to pennycam this morning she took it to bed with her when I left :2funny:! Thanks again!

LOL - The picture makes it look like her hair is growing back better than it really is. It is still pretty thin - I told Drew we need to get some Rogaine :laughing6:

The website is http://www.watchpenny.com:81 If you are using Internet Explorer (or have a bar at the top of the screen - usually yellow) it will ask you to install the ActiveX control (only have to do it once). You will need to do this to view the camera - it doesn't take up room or cause any problems. Also - make sure you put the http in front of it or it won't work in Internet Explorer.
Once you go to the site you will be asked for a user name and password:
username: wienerwritings
password: watchpenny
The camera is inside today so it is a little more flaky so you might have to refresh a couple of times. :thumb:
Wow- great box! Cookie would love that fire hydrant too!
Cookie has thin hair on her back too... I was wondering if it would ever get as thick as it was. :thinik:

In answer to if the hair on their backs will grow in just as nice as it was before surgery....the answer is
YES it will. It make take a few months, but it will be just a nice as ever and you will not be able to tell your baby ever had surgery....or at least that is how it is with my Zoe's back.
