How long before 16 squeakers drive me absolutely nuts or how long before I drop of exhaustion from chasing Berman around to wrestle the freed squeakers from him?

I was thinking the exact same thing!! Also, how many to buy for 3 doxies??
(I have lurked on this board for awhile now, I am trying to come out of hiding)
Janet J.
Well I have 1 that only likes squeaky things and the other only likes to destuff and chew so I think I'll get maybe 1 or 2 to start with and see how long they last.
How many dachsies do you have? I have 2 - Berman is almost 4 and Lucy just turned 2 yesterday. We live in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
Hee Hee - I saw this last night! I think it would drive me absolutely nuts :verdict:
My Buelah would be in Squeeker Heaven! She seems to think the best way to wake me up in the morning is by squeeking one of her toys in my face. Little darling! She would have a field day with this one. 16 squeekers..... LOL!
No way here I have to perform surgery on anything tha has one or a fight breaks out. and 16, just think of the stuffing...........
Roberta
ps think what would happen if a postal wrker squeezed it
LOL - aren't you the brave one ?!?!?!?!? My Rudy loves squeeky toys - this would drive us all nuts !!!!
LOL I would love it! I saw that toy too, it's too funny. I love the sound of Hallie squeeking her toys...but then I only have one pupper, maybe that makes a difference lol. I just took Hallie to the local pet store to get her some treats and came back with two new squeeky toys too. She has over 100 of them in a pile in the corner of the living room (she doesn't destroy them she just squeeks and gives them a good shaking, so they survive forever). But when she picks out new babies and runs around the store squeeking them...how can I not buy them. She also will play with her new toys first once we get home, even if I hide them deep in the pile she'll always find the new ones first.
Ha, speaking of....there is squeeking going on out there right now. She knows that always gets me out there to play with her.
When Sam was younger he loved squeaky toys, but now he is too laid back to care. Sully Angel loved his squeaky toys, he would squeak his town to announce his entrance into a room so the cats would leave. lol.
LOL! You have a stronger will than I do. Delilah is a squeaky "nut" and I know I'd have to hide that toy to retain my sanity!
How is Berman doing with the seizures?
Dawn
My herd is into chewing. They routinely eat the hard, pressed rawhide bones in one to two hours. I have nylabones they are slowly gnawing on. A squeaky toy lasts no more that 10 minutes before it has been eviscerated and the squeaker swallowed, so it's no squeakies for us!
OK if you want an almost instructable soft squeaky toy (Not Doberman Proof) may be for a Doxie go to mydogtoy.com check out their web page I had a couple of them left over from my last Bouvier Patches never could tear them up. Now that I have Buddy the Dobe he has really done them in but he is BIG so do not think a Doxie could tear one up.They test the toys on Tiger cubs lasted about three hours with the Tigers???

How is Berman doing with the seizures?
Well he's only had the 2 - the first back in December then the one a few weeks ago. I didn't report the 2nd one to the vet. I figure if he has another, then I'll tell the vet. When I took him in after the first, the vet couldn't find anything in Berman's bloodwork that would cause him to have seizures so I wasn't sure if another trip to the vet after the 2nd seizure was necessary.
I had been leaving Berman and Lucy out in the house during the day, but it's back to the Fun Fort (kitchen confinement) in case he has another when I'm not home and falls off the couch or something.
Thanks for asking!
Thanks for the web site. I ordered a close-out sppecial of six Tuffies for The Herd. Let's see how long they last. Did you see the Petsmart Bobo commercial? A dachshund dragging around a dachshund-style toy. Check it out on youtube.com and the Sprint dachshund commercia. Both are very cute. My tweenie Roscoe took 15 minutes to destroy a "Bobo" toy.

Yes- I believe the majority of us on the board are big fans of Bobos - I mean - they are just for our perfect little angels - right? Lucy and Berman both got one for Christmas and I think they actually lasted a bit longer than their other toys!
The bobo we got was the big one and it was a little too big for Cookie. Although she did find a way to rip his arms off so now he is just a body and a head.
Patches BoBo has no ears & only 3 legs now but she had major help Buddy it still has all of its squeakers though.
