Here a few pics I snapped of the Zs over the weekend:
Here is Zora snoozing with her "puppies". Jessica piled a bunch of her Boohbahs in the corner of the couch where the dogs like to congregate. Zora simply ignored the Boohbahs and snuggled in amongst them...they look like they'd be the right size to nurse from her.

Zeke has joined Zora in this pic. This picture is pretty deceptive as it looks like Zeke is smaller than Zora. In reality he is considerably larger than Zora.

We had a little bit of snow last week. Here are the Zs out in the backyard, and yes, Zora is about to do her "business"

Zora has had enough and wants back in!

So cute! I love their coloring - they look very well adjusted in their new home!
Cute pictures of a couple of cute pups! They look so happy!
I love the pictures! They are such beautiful dogs.
Great Pics!!
Great pictures! The Z's are just beautiful! I love the coloring that they both have! Not much into playing in the snow, are they? :) I cannot blame them a bit!
Oh, aren't they just SWEET? I love the one of Zora and her "babies". Thanks for sharing, David!
Awwww cutie pies - thanks for sharing !
I swear they look good. Zeke is a gorgeous blue dachie! Zora reminds me of my Sybill-angel since she was a choc/tan as well. Thing is she topped out at 9 pounds when she was at the correct weight so much smaller.
You have some absolutely beautiful dogs, David.... Thanks for sharing.... :thumb:
The Z's sure are cuties. Zora looks like Cocoa did when she was younger. They have the same expressions and the same disdain for the cold! They landed well.
What are those pocket things attached to their collar?

They are called a "Quiet Spot". Basically, they are neoprene rubber pockets that you put the various pet tags, licenses, rabies tag and microchip tag into. Without them, you'd have the insufferable clanging of tags against each other. In addition, they protect the tags so that in the event someone needs to read them, they are in pristine condition. I have to thank Yamisi for getting the Zs the Quiet Spots. It's one of those products that once you have it, you can't believe you lived without it for all these years. How many times has your pupper gotten up to scratch in the middle of the night and wakes you up with the tags clanging? It doesn't happen with the Quiet Spot. I'd highly recommend them to anyone.
Beautiful "kids"! I love the second pic of Zeke giving "the look". Franky gives that same look all the time.
Dawn
Great looking twosome! And great quality photos! :thumb:

If you do a google search for "Quiet Spot", you'll be able to find a whole bunch of online vendors that sell them.
I don't think I ever saw pictures of these two. They are beautiful. Is Zeke a sort of "blue"?

Thank you for the compliments...and good eye, Patty! Zeke is considered a blue/tan. Both Zora and Zeke have the same dam, but different sires. Their dam looked just like Zora. What is interesting about the Zs is that their tan markings are virtually identical (given their obvious size differences) right down to dark spot (chocolate for Zora, blue for Zeke) on the underside of their jaw, and they both have the exact same number of "birth marks" (those little bumps that have a couple of whiskers growing out of them) in the same location with the same number of whiskers in each.
I can't wait for the weather to get warm again so we can have some more fun outside with these two.
