For the past week and a half they've been only dogs again. Gretchen was with me at my grandparents' house then came home with me while Cajsa stayed with David at my IL's. They will be reunited tonight and it'll be a hoot. There will be racing wieners with a toddler right behind.
We just found out that the girls will also be getting another hoo-sibling this year. I'm waiting to see if Cajsa picks up on it like she did with Elf. We'll have to wait and see. Gretchie has been acting like a sweetie lately, but I don't know if it's the pregnancy or the fact she's had all the attention.
WooHoo! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: A new hoosissie or hoobrudder for Cajsa and Gretchen! Congratulations to all of you! :thumb:
Thanks. I hope the girls adjust to it. Cajsa and Gretchen are sweeties and have been wonderful the last month or so. They are going to have fun even if they don't know it!
Wow - April - Congratulations !!! That is excellent news !!!! Keep us posted as to how all the girls react......bet David is hoping for a boy - LOL !!!
Congratulations! :thumb:
Congratulations April! When are you due?
As interesting as it is going to be to see how Gretchen and Cajsa behave, it's going to be even more interesting to see if Elf starts picking up on it.
If I've counted correctly Baby #2 will be here the middle of October. It's pretty early on yet - I've not even had a check-up yet! I'm waiting to see how soon the girls pick up on it. Elf has been talking about "baby F" for about a month saying "Daddy F, Mommy F, Morgan F, Baby F" so it kind of made me wonder if she knew something since we didn't know there was a baby F yet!
Last time Cajsa got VERY protective of me so I wondering if she'll do the same thing this time considering she'll have Gretchen around to 'protect' me too.
Congratulations, April! How sweet that Morgan is already talking about the baby. I hope the transition will be pretty good for her, as well as the puppers!
Congratulations on the new little one. I was trying to remember Morgan's name the other day. We have all called her Elf for so long, that I honestly couldn't remember what you had named her!! I wonder what we will be calling this little one before it is born?
I remember when Cajsa acted so different when you were pregnant and was recently telling someone I work with about it. She is 24 weeks pregnant now and I was asking her a few weeks ago if her 6 year old Yorkie had been acting any differently around her. She hadn't really noticed it, but was going to start paying more attention and see.
Have you heard anymore from the about the job you were looking into?
Not yet. The posting closed on Monday so I figure I'll hear something by the end of next week if I get an interview. They are sending letters out to request interviews or I'd expect to hear something sooner. I'm very hopeful to hear from them about it. That'd mean more dog bones/treats for the furkids! They'd like that quite a bit I think. David has mentioned (jokingly) having to get a third dog for new baby. Elf has Gretchen and Cajsa is very much my and David's dog, baby F will have to share!
