Title: Snow Day-Part 2
Post by: Teresa on February 01, 2007, 04:27:25 PM
This is how the furry ones around here would prefer to spend their snow day (or any day for that matter). Of Course, Schatzi had to pose for a moment, right before she turned around and completely disappeared under the covers!

Too bad you couldn't get them pointing the same direction...it would look like a dog with the head of a dachshund and the trunk of a bulldog!

A few patches are left on the ground around here. The main roads are clear, and secondary roads were slushy in some areas. It may rain or sleet a little tonight. The only problem now will be if anything refreezes tonight. I think most schools will be on a two-hour delay in the morning, just to give the temperature time to get up a little.
I've just finished playing "tug of war" with a Dingo bone that Schatzi had found that I tossed into a trash bag that hadn't made it outside yet. I have to keep them away from Molly, and she had taken this one from Schatzi, then proceeded to get it quite slimy. Once I got it from Molly (no easy feat) and tossed it, Schatzi recovered it. Nothing like trying to get a slimy bone back from a determined Dachshund! Now I remember why Schatzi always gets the little Dingo bones.
