And she is doing great. :thumb: After not seeing much progress over the past two weeks, she finally did 2 things today that we haven't seen in a while
First, she did her "doggie yoga" stretching today. She used to love to to stretch her back by first stretching her front arms and sticking her butt in the air, then lifting her upper body up and draggging her back legs behind her (its look she is doing the cobra position in yoga). She has not done that since the surgery. Today she did it! Pre- back problems she would do her "yoga" a few times a day.
Second, she kicked some grass up today after pee'ing. She used to love to kick the dirt up with her back legs after marking her territory. In fact, she kicked so hard at the dog park once, she kicked a pug in the face. :funnyup: She is not kicking that hard yet, but she is on her way.
Everytime we see her do the simplest things again, we get so excited. :hello2:
Gald to hear she is doing so good! How is her walking? Penny recently started doing the same streching move that Cookie does! I was so excited when I saw her do it! Keep up the good work Cookie!!
Glad to hear that Cookie is on the mend. I think most dachsies do that stretching position. You have to have pretty short legs to get them to go all the way back like that!
That's TERRIFIC!!! :thumb: My Maddie's a kicker too. She reminds me of a C.A.T. And Dolly does the yoga thing, too. She makes skid marks in the carpet.
