Yes, Max was assisted to the Rainbow Bridge on October 2. Quite simply, all his parts just wore out...but after 17 years and 7 months, that's understandable.
While getting various condolences, I spoke with Yamisi, who owned Zora & Zeke. When I asked about how they were doing, I found out that they were being boarded because her infant son had developed severe allergies and respiratory problems.
Margie and I talked, we really didn't have any intention of becoming dog owners again so soon after Max's passing. However, having known these two puppers since they were both guests at the Dachsie Hilton with Rudy & Max, we just couldn't see these two going to any home. So, we opened our hearts and our home and took the Zs a scant two weeks after Max's passing.
It's been great since then...the Zs are just wonderful puppers and "characters" in their own right. Thanks for asking!
