They finished the floor decking yesterday. Then they filled the garage with sand and compacted it in preparation for the slab. Next they will move over to the shop/barn and start framing.

The new home site as seen from Domingo's Garden. That's his rock in the foreground.

Winter time "before" shot taken from the same spot.
Patty-
From the previous pics you've posted, the one side of your house kinda looks like our friend's lake house.
woo-hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think it's spooky the way that rock has a horse's head on it.
Anyways... I saw this great product for window walls like you are going to have, It is a type of glass or window film that reflects. Makes the window look like part of the surroundings--instead of being able to see in. It was really kool lookin'.
Great progress!!!!!!!! When's the bow-wow??? hmmmmm?
:hello2:
Fabulous !!!!
What a pretty house! Thats similar to what we will have.
We didn't even notice the horse head profile in the rock until a few months later. A friend pointed it out to us. We used a D6 to roll that rock over to Domingo's spot I like the way the rain streaked the rock to make it look like a mane.
OK now you've got me spooked. The horse's head on the boulder should be in Ripley's Believe it or Not
That is awesome Patty - it looks like things are really moving along!
All right whens the house warming party Patty!!!!
Looking good
Roberta
Very cool!!! What a wonderful process--how excited you must be!
I'm so glad someone else spoke up about the horse's head--I saw it, but thought maybe I was hallucinating from being up so late! That is amazing!
