Title: Penny Loves her Grandma!!
Post by: Kari on January 16, 2007, 09:02:22 AM
So today was going to be Penny's first day by herself all day, but Grandma decided that she would come and sit with her :thumb: for a couple of hours! I was so glad!

When Drew and I both left this morning Penny had her L@@K and you could almost hear her wondering where we both were going! We reduced her pain medication yesterday and she seemed to do fine so that is good. When I get home today I get to take her for a short walk (then back to the crate)! She is walking really well - still has some problem with balance but otherwise doing good. Still have a little under 4 weeks of crating left :verdict:. I am really anxious for her appt on the 29th! I want to know how they think she is doing and if we are going to do another round of the injectable drugs :dontknow:.

Thanks again for everyone's support! The PennyCam has been pretty busy lately so if you get a screen that says it Timed Out just keep trying. It just means that she has a number of admirers watching her .

Penny sounds like she is doing so well!  Darn it!  I haven't been able to get into the Penny Cam except for single shots of her lovliness.  I think I need to download something but can't do that at work.  Anyway, it's wonderful that Grandma is coming to spoil our special grrrrl.

It's so good to be hearing how well she is doing after the scary start you had. It sounds like she's healing up great!! 4 weeks sounds like an eternity doesn't it. But 2 have already gone by and now she can start having a little more freedom which will make it a little easier. Yes it will be good to hear what the vet says I'll bet he'll be very pleased with her progress.

Way to go Grandma !!!!   So glad Penny is improving....sending rays and prayers that she will be able to wean off the pain meds !!!!!

I am sad - I had been so busy this morning, I haven't been able to check Penny out......when I did early, she was asleep and snuggled in with her pink blankie !

I will check on her now
