Oh my... Cookie's personality is fully back now.
She is now walking (well staggering is a better description) 80% of the time today. I had her out of her playpen during dinner so she could sit under the table with us. Well, as soon as dinner was done, she got her "Monster" (favorite squeaky), and started trying to get me to toss it for her to chase it. I dropped it 6 inches from her and she didn't look too happy about that so she kept pointing at it with her nose and backing up for me to throw it. I told her to knock it off, she was going back in her playpen if she didn't calm down. She then looked right at me and squatted an pee'd. Yes, she did one of her spiteful pees.
Then after that was cleaned up, I said, time for your playpen, and she ran from me, until I caught her and she rolled on her back and batted her eyes at me saying " I love you Mommy". She is now in her playpen, not too happy.
Its going to be a long week until her follow up visit Friday. :confused2: While, I am happy to have "her" back, I wish she would tone it down a little until she gets the OK to play and move around again.
You can't keep a good dachsie down...for better or for worse (LOL)...and it sounds like Cookie is a very good dachsie.
Sounds like she is doing well! It sounds like she will be quite the handful to keep quiet.
Oh my! :2funny: (sorry ) Great to hear Cookie is being.......Cookie again......I think. :thumb:
So true, that you cannot keep a good doxie down.

Yep, she is up to her old antics- she thinks she is large and in charge. And we love her and her antics and wouldn't have it any other way. (well, except for the pee'ing when she gets mad at me thing- that one could stop!)
