The telephone repair man came to the door to day asked me to open the gate (our gate only opens from the inside)so he could get to the phone box by the telephone pole in our backyard. I tell him OK put my snow boots on and try to open the gate the gate is frozen so tell him he can come thru the house.Thought Patches was in the house she got the door open with her nose so out the back door she goes in the sleet she goes down to the telephone pole with the repair man. He squats down and is opening the box I go down to get Patches still sleeting she does not like to get wet so she goes under the guys butt to get out of the sleet his coat is hanging down so all you can see is Patches tail wagging.I get there the guy has to stand up so I can get Patches it was a good thing he liked dogs and I picked her up took her in the house & made sure the door got shut this time.Was a little embarrassing about her going under his butt to get out of the sleet.She just wanted to help the guy,good thing Buddy was in his crate in the house did not have to deal with him.

Be careful in the sleet! Looks like the mid part of the country is in for a big one this weekend. We have already got some snow this morning and it is going to get worse. No ice though just about a foot of snow. Just got a bunch of wood in to help with the heat.

That is really funny. Yes, a picture would have been great, but a little much to have tried while trying to get Patches too! Can't believe the crazy weather. Here in the South, we were super cold on Wednesday, and 65 today. And they wonder why everyone has sinus problems right now....

What an image! :grin: The last phone guy that we had HATED dogs and wouldn't even enter the house until he was POSITIVE the vicious beasts were penned up. :idiot: Mine are all noise and no bite, but we humored him, just the same.
