Hallie and I got up early (I woke up to the "sneeze alarm", she sneezed just seconds before the alarm went off and I woke with a start LOL) and we went to the beach. I have been trying to get there during somewhat stormy weather to take stormy beach photos for backgrounds for some paintings I will be doing of horses so we went today as the rest of the week is supposed to be cold and maybe snowy. I got great shots but of course the best ones had the Princess in them. She had a BALL, she went nuts on the beach, she loves the sand, and there were hardly any people anywhere. We got to hang out for a while at the cottage before heading home too, it is a 2.5 hour drive each way, when we got home she played with all her "babies", had dinner and now she's crashed out like a light in her bed under my feet. :heart:
Oh MY Gosh!!! She is sooo pretty!! I hope you don't mind I put her picture as my desktop. I am hoping that I can get another doxie and that it will look like Hallie. She is just so picture friendly. EYE CANDY is what she is. And the beach, well that is the place to get your bearings back. Looks like you have a beach dog now. Your ability for taking photos is beyond imagination. I have never seen anything like it. You have a talent that is blessed by God. I went to your web site and you were booked. Believe me, I will keep watching for you to be available. You are the pinnacle of photography as far as I am concerned.

Yep, more Hallie pics to save! It looks like she was having a great time and the weather looks like it was great for the backgrounds you needed! Glad you had a chance to get away. I'm trying to figure out a time to get to the beach, but haven't come up with one yet. Don't think it's going to happen this Spring, maybe after Meg's graduation though. That is what she is hoping for.
Looks as if you enjoyed yourself missie, and your hair went all fussy in the sea air.
