Yes, its called the jane austin block, and turned out really well, they are my mums favourite colours.

Terry I took it up about two years ago and am addicted. I ended up buying a big janome P1600, it has a longer arm, just for quilting, and just bought a janome 6600 for piecing and free style quilting(also has a longer arm) as my other machine you could shift the needle to theright and my 1/4 inch foot was giving a bit more than a !/4 inch, its a beautiful. I do a little hand piecing.

My aunt, who is absolutely masterfull at quilting, is teaching me. I'll post some pictures of it when .... and if....LOL....I ever finish it!

Your quilting talent amazes me I have no idea how you can take needle and thread and fabric and create something so beautiful. Lucky pups to get home made masterpieces to snuggle in! :)
