I am tired of being in this crate!! Mom and Dad say I have to stay in here for another 4 - 6 weeks since I hurt my back :verdict:. I think they are crazy :idiot:
I'm sooooo sorry Penny, but they are really looking out for you. At least you have a bed and warm covers! Are you getting extra treats and toys????? Just remember how much they love you, and we will all pray the time goes by quickly.
Hang in there a little while longer. The time will be done before you know it.
Dear Penny,
We iz really sorry dat you are in "doggie jail" but mom and pop sezs dat yer Mom and Pop are doing what is best fer you. To make da time go by fast, tell yer mom dat she and yer pop should be entertaining you.......dancin, singin, givin you lotsa treats and loves. Hang in there Penny.....we send lotsa mega rays and hugs your way!!! Yer friends, Sarge and Looie
Ahh Penny this breaks my heart! The time will go by faster than you think though. One thing I did for Hallie was lightly steam some carrots, put those, some canned no-salt green beans, banana, and a little bit of canned food into the food processor with a lot of added filtered water. Then I froze it in cylindrical ice cubes and let her work on one of those a couple of times a day. I also gave her bits of no salt rice cake and raw carrots, I was afraid of her gaining weight with no exercise but hated that she was so extra hungry (I over did it she got a little too thin).
Also Ron and Delia sent her a couple of those congs where you can hide things, one has a head and a spiral thing coming down. I would smear yogurt or canned food on the spirals and put a baby carrot inside, so she would have to work on that.
I tried to have some noise going all the time, tv or radio. I also did little tricks with her like put a kibble in front of her, have her stay...staaay....then ok get it (if she would have been too animated about it I wouldn't have done it but she didn't move anything but her head).
Hang in there both of you. I HATE these back problems!!!! The good thing of them though is when they recover, they are usually back to normal again, it's not like arthritis or something that is permanently sore.
Oh Penny grrrlllll....I am sorry you are in doggie jail - but it is by far the best thing for your ouchie back ! Auntie dd's idea of snackie ice cubes sounds great !!!! We are sending lots of Texas doxie rays so that you heal quickly !!!!
Does mom or dad work close enough to home to come let you out during the day when they have to go back to the werk? Sure hope so !
Keep getting better little girl !
You poor girlie girl, it will not be long maybe they can get you some rip apart toys to keep you amused.
