Title: A way to check your reaction times
Post by: Teresa on December 30, 2006, 10:16:53 AM
You never know when this may come in handy! Also, it can give you something to do when you have a few minutes to kill at work and if you get caught, you can tell the boss you are trying to get your brain to work more efficiently! Supposedly, if you try it before caffeine and then again after caffeine, you will see a difference in your score.

You also get better with practice.   My first times were around .22 of a second.   On the third try, I was down to .16 of a second...a rocketing rabbit!

Cool. I only got to the Bobcat stage. I would do a lot better if I would stop firing before the sheep go running across and getting penalized!
Another cool site is www.mybraintrainer.com
You can see what your brain age is or you ca do their brain challenge. Also you can do a membership on the site for more games. I've about decided it would be safer for me to join their site than to own a Nintendo DS and get the Brain Age game. I'm afraid the Nintendo would be too easy to pick up and would become too addictive!

I got to 0.1598. I keep hitting the darn right button too which brings up a menu that I have to click out of and another sheep gets away. LOL. Where are those herding doxies when we need them.

Hey my brain age is 27! Then how come I can't follow basic recipe directions. LOL.

27????? I'm impressed. That stupid REVERSAL thing kills me everytime, unless I talk out loud when I'm doing it. Then I do okay. It has been great fun for Randy and I to compete with each other. I can't wait until Leslie finds it, she should have a blast!

I don't want to talk about my brain age, but my reaction time was 0.1255 and I scored 100% accuracy on my third time through!
