Hi All,
Today is Patches Gotcha Day. He traveled via dachshund railroad from Ohio to Hancock, MD and we picked him up there 2 years ago today. Patches has a couple of nick-names, Junior (although he is 10 years old) and Old Velvet Ears. He is a velcro dog; nothing sleeps better than a warm human although a basket of clothes fresh from the drier is pretty good too! He hasn't met a human he didn't like and if you doubt, he will give you a wet and sloppy kiss just so you know you're loved.
Patches is a great hound and has discovered, "Goferride", "sniffies" and "walkies" since he's been with us. He's a brindle smooth tweenie and his colorin always draws a comment.
I suspect he will want his own ice cream tonight! And, he deserves the best.
