Well Berman's vet does think Berman had seizure Saturday night. The vet gave him a thorough exam and Berman checked out ok. The vet said the bloodwork will show anything they may have missed or if Berman is in the beginning stages of something. Hopefully everything comes back ok and this was an isolated incident!
Keeping good thoughts that this is a one time only.......please let up know as soon as the bloodwork comes back - smoochies to the Ber-man !!!
Jenny,
Besides Zeke have the seizure our very first doxie 36 years ago had them occasionally. May 1 every 1 or 2 years. After he was 10 he never had anymore. Like I said, even if he has them occasionally, you and he can have lots of good times together. They can usually be managed very well. Zeke had cluster seizures that he would start to come out of one and go right back into another. That was why we had to start medicating him.
Good Luck and hope it was a one time thing - if not you know what he is like and try to keep calm and talk quietly to him. If it lasts for over 5-10 min. then you need to call the vet right away. One other thing. Keep track of what is going on and the time etc. that he has them. It can help you to know what might set them off.

Rays on the way! Paws crossed that this was a one time ting! :xfinger:
Rays from here too that it is a one time thing! Sounds like it likely could be. Lets hope it is!
So sorry to hear about poor Berman! Keeping our paws and fingers crossed! :xfinger:
Fortunately seizures can be managed and not affect his quality of life.
sending lots of rays,
Dawn
