Title: I had to do something awful to Ozzy
Post by: MindyKay on December 07, 2006, 12:45:53 PM
I've had my car in and out of the dealership about 4 times now, and they still can't figure out why the thing has no heat :BangHead:   Yesterday, they called me at work to say that the driver was on the way to my house to pick me up.  I rushed out of work and drove like a maniac to my house, only to get a call from the driver saying he had gone to the wrong address - all the way across town.

I didn't want to stay in the van outside my house, so I went on in and changed into jeans and sweatshirt.  I also let Ozzy out of his kennel for a few minutes.  Not knowing when the driver was going to show up, I had to put Ozzy back into his kennel.  I gave him an extra treat, but you should have seen the L**K he gave me.  Then, he would give a barely audible whine.  I was standing by the door, looking for the driver and Ozzy was in his kennel, probably asking, "Why am I in here, Mommy?"

The driver arrived, I picked up my car and actually had heat - for a while - then it quit again  :cussing:  Car is going back and I'm not going to pay one thin dime until it is fixed.

Hopefully, letting Ozzy ride along last night while I did errands made up for the unexpected kenneling.

Awwww.....they really don't understand the change in routine, especially when it involves EXTRA kennel time.  But you did the right thing in making sure Ozzy was secure while you did business.  AND making it up to him by letting him ride along while you did errands.
I wouldn't pay one thin dime for getting the heat fixed either, not after 4 times in the shop!!!

I'll bet it was harder on you than on Ozzie. I know what you mean though, those little eyes can melt you fast. Better safe than sorry, he's forgotten it by now I'm sure and you kept him safe throughout. I would be livid about the heater too!! I am always cold so I have to have my heat! I hope it gets fixed and stays fixed.
