Last night I was playin wif Toby-Man an mama made us STOP! Dat is what she says....STOP! So Toby-Man stopped playin wif me and I got MAD! I opened up my mouf and dis NOISE came out! Den anuder noise came out! Mama was laughin so I did it AGAIN! Buelah an Oscy an Toby-Man was lookin at me an I was da center of detention! Dat is what mama said and den she called it my BARK. So I kept makin dat BARK ALL night and I even made dat BARK when I had to go night-night in my cwate! I finally fell asweep cuz makin dat noise makes me sleepy.

How Funny! That is one of my favorite times with a puppy. Is hers really high pitched? Schatzi would always nudge open the door and come into the bathroom when I was in the shower and then she would let out that high pitched puppy bark! That will wake a person up in the morning for sure!
Of all my dogs, I only got to witness Rudy's first bark. I was walking him when he saw his pal Tony, the cocker spaniel. You heard this noise, and then suddenly a BARK! erupted from him. I think he startled himself as much as he startled everyone else.
I think Clifford was 7 or 8 months old at least before he started barking. At least then I got a little warning before he commenced to rip the skin off my hands with his needle sharpt teeth.
Beatrice that is so fun ta bark... I just found my barker a few days ago, when dat stuck up kitty wouldn't pway wif me, so I let out a bark dat made my daddy jump... :2funny: He is sooo jumpy... Den my momma told me dat it was a deep bark for a Doxie.... I guess dat my Unca Boo had a high pitchy bark.... I twied to tell my momma its cuz he had da dweaded "snip & clip", but I finks dat my time is coming for dat, so I will jus be quiet bout dat for now.... But, I sure do loves ta bark now... I do it all da time, and hewe's a hint, use da bark when ya wants ta get on da big bed... I found dat using dis bark weal early in da morning at like 4 in da morning, wakes my momma up and she lifts me onto da big bed... Dat is my most favorite pwace ta sweep.... And, I fink it is funny cuz da Cocker Spaniels haf ta sweep in da cwate, cuz dey are bad.... Dey don't care where dey potty at night, dey jus go... :rolleyes: :doah: Bonus points for me.... :thumb: But, make sure ta use da bark anytime dat you can, even jus ta gets datention!!! Dat is funny dat you was da center of datention wif Beulah, Oscy & da Toby-Man.... hahaha :apls: I jus don't know bout one fing though, and dat's dis gwoing up business... I mean it sounds fun and all, but den we won't be da adowable puppies dat we are now, but den we will be big and can do da big stuff wif da big dogs...
