About 6 months ago LIlilys nose was running really bad and she was sneezing. Doc put her on an antihistimine and some other medicine. She has been on the pills for last 6 months, but just this morning I was noticing that when she runs up the stair in the am, she has this crud in her belly. I have a vet appt on Thursday, but I was just getting nervous....
Thanks!
Paula
How old is she, Paula? Is her tummy itchy at all? What does the "crud" look like? Most allergies are very manageable, Hallie has them and gets a shot every three weeks that have helped her. Hers is mainly itching and gets better in the winter but I have noticed lately she has been doing some sneezing and reverse sneezing, maybe the dry air contributes? Try not to worry too much I know how miserable waiting for a vet appointment can be.
If she does have true allergies have you considered immunotherapy? It's a little spendy but safer than steroids, if it would even come to that with her.
She is about a year and a half. Last night she threw up and it had some yellow crud in it, its crazy, she must not chew her food at all! LOL. She doesnt itch too bad, just in her ears. When I get home from work she like rubs her ears across the carpet upstairs and sneezing a little.
Thanks for your post, and I will let you know what the vet says!
Thanks
Paula
