I was holding Ozzy and playing with his feet when I noticed there are patches of fur in between his pads. Is this normal? Ozzy did NOT like me playing with that fur and even bared his teeth at me. Should I have that hair trimmed?
I have to periodically put Ozzy in a submissive position and play with his feet, or he would go crazy anytime anybody did anything to his feet!
You should see Hallie's feet! It's wooks wike sheez wearin' swippers!
Me, I hab nice "wookie" feets.

I have FuZzy toes too ..... eLlIe
Both my smoothy and longhair have fur between the paw pads, but you REALLY notice it with the long hairs. You can leave it alone unless it troulbles Ozzy. I had to trim Archie's feeties because he would slip and slide across the kitchen floor and sometimes even get matts there. Even though Boone is and Leopold was longhaired, their paw fur isn't a problem.
My long haired girl Buelah has fuzzy feet. I call them her built in slippers! I have never trimmed them but I suppose it wouldn't hurt if it seems to be bothering your boy.
I trim Brekke's, because she slides across the kitchen floor otherwise!
Max didn't get fuzzy feet until very late in his life. Otherwise, his feet were clean as were Rudy's as well as the Zs. You can trim it if you find that it bothers you or your pupper.
WEz has them and ma trims them as we slip on da tiles when we do screaming memmmeeees outta da back door, but she leaves our fringy bits (mops) as shez says day cute dirt collectors.

Was that Max's equivalent of me growing hair in my ears?
I love the longhairs - their paws are so fuzzy - not good traction though !!! Mine are both smooths and neither one likes me messing in between their toes!
