My husband and I moved into this house (4 years ago). We were buying it from friends of ours. They just got a divorce. Number one mistake:: We never could get the title in our names. Just this past week the wife sent us a registered letter telling us we have 10 days to get out. The letter was not signed or dated. We have 30 in the truth of the matter. BUt, we are moving and I had to give away my American Bulldog as well. :sad5: I still have my doxie but, the doxie loved her elise. Anyways, We have put alot of work into this place and I hoping that legally we can get something back. We spoke with the ex husband and he was mad and said we could go to court. Well, I can not stay here and fight with her family ruling all around. I would not mind moving if she would talked with us and told us what her plans are. She did not have to act so hatefull. Any advice ??
Any progress or new info on this?? Hope things work out for you.... Things like this are just rotten, ecspecially this time of year... And to have to lose a baby because of it.... :cussing: I am very sorry to hear about this... My prayers are with you...
Hopefully things will work out for you. It's hard to lose a home, especially when you worked so hard on it. Perhaps there is something better in your future. All I can say is re-read any contract or documents you have, and if you think you have some legal rights then see an attorney.
thanks so much to everyone for thinking of us on this post. We have moved out and now are into are new place. We are seeing a lawyer for some advice. Maggie, is missing Elise especially when I let Maggie go potty outside. I try to comfort her and tell her Elsie is ok and that I love her but, Maggie senses that I am upset and therefore she is as well. I do believe what comes around goes around. I appreciate the fact that I am ok and have my family.... :pray: :heart:
