About 8 weeks ago Helen over the back fence's father/brothers 15yr old dachie died and she was asking where to contact people to get two to breed, I said no breeder would sell them two as they watch carefully how the breed is going. I suggested a rehome, and put them in touch with the Vicorian Dachshound club. Then had a look at Colleen's sight and there was a gorgious boy looking for a new home. So last week-end we met chilli whose 1st parent's divorced we've said todrop him off for a run when he comes round to helens

he is Oliver at a year old

Oh gosh he's gorgeous!!! And he does look like Oliver doesnt he! These guys are sooo beautiful. How neat you helped talk them out of breeding and into a rehome. I didn't quite follow the whole story though, did your neighbors relatives actually adopt him then? I hope he has his wonderful forever home he sure deserves it!
Yes they did Dee Dee, he is so relaxed, its my sook thats hogging Helen. His snoot is still coming out, but he is adorable, and is spoilt to bits already.
