Dis is da Maddewoo. Dis weekend, mommy and papa tooked us to a big park and guess what? Dere were oodles and oodles of noodle doggies dere! Mommy said it was da wienerdog waces. The waces were only for fun dough and we didn't wace. We spent all our time meetin' and gweetin'. We were vewwy well behaved. Dolly did have words wiff some BIG dogs dat were there but she just had to tell dem dat dey weren't dachshunds and that SHE'S da boss. We didn't know dere were so many doggies who looked like us! We had wots of fun and took a BIG nap when we gotted home.
The wienerdog races are held here every year. The girls were VERY good. About 200 dachsies of all colors, coats and sizes. Lot's of honorary dachshunds including the biggest Dane I've ever seen. That boy was ALL legs and as tall as a pony. The races are very non-serious and they had a costume contest too. Of course my favorite costume is the hotdog one. The girls got a new harness each made by a lady in our MH park. They're real stylin'.
That sounds like so much fun! You will have to post pics of the kids in the new harnessess!
That does sound like fun!! I'm proud of the grrrls for being so good! Danes and Doxies go good together :). Yes do we get to see pics of the new harnesses?
