Hi guys. It's been a while. I want to say that Drew and Kari have done a fantabulous job putting his board up and that Barb and Krista are the best for doing what I couldn't do. LOL
I'll try to stay in touch by reading this board from now and then. :)
To update you all....I'm still doxieless. :dontknow: What can ya do, eh? Perhaps when I retire and can be home more. :sad6:
Chris
(ooooooooh, I like the smileys)
Hi Chris. Welcome to the board. Wonder how SSB is doing with Katrina and her dad. :thinik: Sure hope she and Cathy are both ok. Talk to you soon.
Merion
Hi Chris - great to see you !!!! Think of you often...please keep in touch, ok? :headbang:
Hi, Chris!
Sorry to hear you're still doxieless! I am down to one, and that is Brekke the chocolate/tan longhaired mini who is now 4. I got married last year, and my husband and I went to high school together. He found me on the 'Net, at Classmates.com. I have a 16 year-old stepson who lives with his mother in Oregon. He is a marine architect and engineer - designs boats, yachts, and ships. He just got his doctorate this summer from the University of Michigan, and he owns some land on Allumettes Island in the St. Lawrence River, between Ontario and Quebec. How's that new (then!) car you got the last time I chatted with you?
Julia (B.) Still in Bakersfield, CA
I'm glad you popped by. I hope you had a good day off.
I do hope you'll drop by more often. Roscoe sends his favorite Canadian many kissies!
Gosh, my favourite people and doxies!! LOL All of them!!! Roscoe looks fiiiiiiiiiine.
And has it been THAT long since I talked to you Julia? My car, now 4 years old, is still great. I love it. AND hey, congratulations!! Married to a high school classmate who searched you out. Now, if that ain't the stuff of movies, I dunno what is. :thumb:
Prayers going out to those in New Orleans. I hope everybody's ok.
I've missed you all!
:grouphug:
Glad you like the site Chris. :hello2: Hope to see you around from time to time.
Hi Chris!
We're so glad you stopped by. Isn't it amazing how much the original WW Board has grown in seven years? Everything you see here was started by your efforts back in April 1998. We're thrilled that things seem to be going well for you.
If you look below on the Rainbow Bridge section, you'll see that Rudy passed back in June. Of the three Cohen furkids that you met at the 1999 Frederick Bow Wow, only Max remains. He's 16 years, 6 months old now...the oldest dachsie on this board.
On the upside, our daughter Jessica has been wonderful. You can see pictures of her in the non-dachsie writing section.
Please check back in with us often!
David,
You have a daughter????? Wow, have I been out of touch.
Merion had been keeping me up to date on the passings of various dachshunds on the board. I had heard about Rudy. :sad10:
Gosh, Frederick seemed like a lifetime ago. I'm beginning to feel real old!
