This morning we got a knock on our door. I lazily stumbled to the door and our neighbor was standing there. i invited her in and she began to apologize. I wasnt sure what she was apologizing for so I asked her. SHe said she was the one that found the baby racoons after she hit the mother with her car. She decided to grab them all and bring them to my house cause she knew I was the animal lady and would be able to help them. Not sure if being called the animal lady is a compliment or not. :scratch: :dontknow:
I told her it was fine and that I was glad she brought them to us. But asked her if in the future, she would at least notify us about it sooner. I'm also not really sure where she got the impression that i was the animal lady. Its not like I have weird pets or anything. I only have one dog and two cats. I do love animals so maybe she saw me interacting with some of the wild animals around here, I'm not sure. But, I'm taking the "animal lady" label as a huge compliment. I could be known for worse right?
Porky here: I fink I have a new playmate. Dat lady asked if her little boy could come over and play wif me in da afternoons cause he gets lonesome. I can hardly wait!!!! i love dose kids, especailly da boys!! Dey are fun!!!
