I just emailed Mac on this but I thought I'd take a chance that someone may be interested or know of someone who would be.
My husband is a carpenter and did some work for some people who have a sweet little one and a half year old smooth red boy named Shaggy. He is up to date on his shots, heartworm negative, and they told him that they were planning on having him neutured this month. All they said is that they "don't have time for him". UUUGGGHHHHHH.....we won't get into how mad that makes me!
They will be bringing him to my house over the weekend and I plan to keep him with us until we can find a forever home for him. Unfortunately, I don't think it would be in my Toby's best interest to bring another into the mix right now. We are still working on socializing him and although he is doing great, I think another dog could set him back.
If anyone knows of anyone who would like to meet this sweet boy, please contact me ASAP.
Thanks!
Terri,
That makes me soo sad... Since I just lost my little guy in August... I wish I lived closer, I would take him in a heartbeat... But, unfortunately, I live in Idaho... :mumum: This is horrible... Some of us love them too much to want to let them go.... If I hear anything or of anybody wanting one who lives closer I will let you know.... If I could figure out a way to get him here....... I just think that is impossible right now... Too many vet bills from my last Doxie... GRRR... This kind of thing just makes me sick.... :BangHead: Any pics?? Is he housetrained??? Let me know... You can also email me at uknowit@icsofidaho.net Hope to hear form you soon.... ~Tara
Terri - you have such a big heart - thank you for taking him in. I am sure Mack (and now his new wife Melanie) will be able to help......and maybe it will work out that Tara gets a new furkid!!!
Sending rays that all goes well.
