I grew up on a farm with lots of animals including a mean turkey named Jake. He would chase after kids all the time and my older sister always told me that he could peck my eyes out. One day while feeding my rabbits, Jake came running at me and I was so scared, I jumped in the rabbit hutch. When the lid slammed shut, the latch snapped shut and I was locked inside with one of my rabbits. After what seemed like forever, with me yelling “Help! Help!” and Jake strutting outside, my mom finally rescued me. I couldn't wait for Thanksgiving, that year.
