14. Tell us a funny story about yourself. On our wedding night, a Saturday, we were going to stay in a fancy schmancy hotel. We had to go to work on Monday. So our honeymoon was to be delayed. We got in our car and it wouldn't start. We could NOT get it to work so we ended up staying at MY place (our real place wasn't ready yet) which was a studio with a corner group (read 2 single beds). The next morning, my dad came over to look at the car. He moved the shift lever and it started. Seems it was out of place a bit and we didn't catch it. There was nothing wrong with the car.

Your hair was short when you were here, now it's down your back? Pictures!!!
You have downplayed your writing talent Ms. Sandy. For anyone who doesn't know...Sandy is a VERY talented writer! Obvious by what she writes here but her Big Valley stories are really great. (and she's not dumpy either!) :)
Funny about your wedding night....I'm guessing not quite the way you had planned LOL!

'I read and write fanfiction for the old western/soap from the '60's called The Big Valley." Wow! I never knew groups like this existed. What Fun! I checked one of the web sites WOW! Do you post your stories ?
Happy POD day, Sandi!
I'm a little familiar with Watkins. I got an old Watkins cookbook from a flea market earlier this year. I love that every recipe calls for Watkins brand stuff - spices, extracts, etc. Also, in the cookbook, there was a note from a lady - I can't remember her name - who said this was her first cookbook and she got it when she got married when she was 19. I think the cookbook dates back to the 1920s or 1930s. I just loved that! I have the letter in a frame hanging in my kitchen.
I think I've been to San Luis Obispo - I visited family in Templeton (?) and went to Morrow Bay when I was little.
I just love this POD idea! How fun!
Great write up Sandi! This is so much fun! I just love finding out about everyone. DeeDee....thanks for the pics!
