On the 9th of this month David and I will have been married 6 years. I don't guess that's really so long, but it seems like a while when I say it, although not when I think about it...
I was wondering if anyone could help me come up with a relatively cheap way to celebrate. I was thinking going to dinner at a little place I know and getting a babysitter, but that's kind of cliche. I want something original, or at least not so run of the mill! I'm excited and happy about it and want to surprise him.
April we don't go out, I cook our favourites open a good bottle of bubbly or wine or both, set up our formal dining area, candles etc and try to wear something nice( I'm a trackie girl at home). We leave cards, gifts till we sit down to eat.
Happy Aniversary on the 9th.

Well Happy Anniversary !!!! Hmmmm - trying to think of something original........
I like Roberta's idea.......more work for you - unless you order in......set the table nice - have the girls dress up nice (of course Elf and the fur girls too) and serve Daddy a nice dinner. Then maybe load everyone up to go have ice cream for dessert. Have a movie on hand to snuggle with David on the couch to watch......
We have some good original people here - so you should get some other ideas !
How about having a picnic in the park? That's still more work for you, though, unless you pick something up.
