Hallie girl I think we have your twin here in Illinois! My nephew adopted a long hair black and tan puppy from Dachshund Rescue and he looks almost like you! He has little brown spots above his eyes like you.His name is Ben and is a year old.
What a pretty girl! Love those ears!!!
What an absolutely gorgeous picture! I think this is my favorite of all of Miss Hallie's photos!
Wow,
She's gorgeous and looks real soft. No wonder she's your "DH"
I wish I were as photogenic as she is......NUTZ!
you are a beautiful girl, and your mumsy takes some stunning shots of you.

Here are a couple more, I don't have the proper lights yet but am just practicing where to set things up with some cheap ones. I spilled a packet of salad dressing on her head a bit ago :doah: so just had to give her a bath and didn't want to waste a perfectly good bath without taking a few shots.
I could kiss this sweet little face all day!
DH indeed LOL!
Now we're off for our walk and what do you want to bet that bath comes home with dead earthworm stink in it... :thumb:
Hmmm...looknig at these again I should have noticed a few adjustments needed on the "model". The sepia one the hair on top of her head was just brushed and was too flattened down it makes her head look funny and mushy. The bottom one makes her look fat! (don't tell her I was a bad photographer!) She's really as thin as a little rail but the angle and hair make her look a little rotund...goodness Tyra would never hire me to do photos!
Miss Hallie....your mommy is way too critical......you are the PERFECT subject and mom is an EXCELLENT photographer !!!! Gorgeous you are..... SMOOCH !
What a sweet cover girl our Hallie is. There's just ONE thing she needs......
A big curler right in the middle of her forehead. Sandi running and ducking for cover.
Mommy just needs a good set of lights! She keeps trying to find someone who loves her enough to buy her a $50,000.00 Friesian stallion named Feniks and a good set of studio lights...but so far no one does! :thinik:
ROTFL Sandy! You have way too good a memory. LOL!!!! I still wear that dang thing. I scared the pants off poor little Gretchen last time she was here, I couldn't figure out why suddenly she wasn't letting me pet her...I was wearing my curler! A while back I bent over to pet Hallie and the darn thing fell out of my hair, landed on her ear which immediately rolled itself around the curler like someone put it there. LOL. I was rolling on the floor laughing (literally) while Hallie just walked nonchelantly off with her ear wrapped around a big blue curler...
And DeeDee I can even picture the look on her face while walking away. Funny how baths always have rolllipolly endings on the next wash. Amy at present its duck poo when we go on week-end walks.
Roberta
Good lights or not, Dee Dee, those pictures of Hallie are beautiful! How funny that Hallie has a "fat" picture! My stepmom says that at least once in life, everyone takes a fat picture. LOL! Still, Hallie is as pretty as a princess! I'll hire you to take my pictures any day!
Dee....Neither of you would know fat if it fell on you! I would know because I used to be skinny, in my past life...... The princess is, as always, :grouphug2: loverly. You don't need good lights! Hallie is the light...
What great pics! Hallie definitely is one of the most stately dachsies I've ever seen. It makes it that much funnier when you watch the video clip of her being a spaz in your backyard!
LOL Roberta what is it about doxies and poop?? Hallie was finding cat poop in our front yard today (grrrr) she always gets so excited she tries to have runny attacks (Mom always stops them these days).
Ha I think your Mom is right Beth. I guess that was Hallie's!
SUZIE! How are you guys? Did Mike come see you yet I am so envious! :) We wanna come play too! Wish you were here, we're taking Hallie to Long Beach this Friday and Saturday, staying at the cottage and my cousin is bringing her Friesian and her Tennessee Walker/Arab mare (that looks just like a dapple gray andalusian), we will board them there and go riding and I am taking a ton of photos to paint from. And when the horses are tucked back at the stable Hallie and I are going to walk the beach WOOT!
Thanks David! Hallie still tries to do those zoomies around the yard but I have to stop her now. :( Dang stupid awful doxie back problems. She feels like a million bucks but I want to keep her that way so no off the wall sillies anymore. Sigh. You are right though it is funny how she can be such a pristine Princess much of the time and suddenly turn into a tom boy other times. I had her in the store with me yesterday and an older teenager (boy) saw her in the cart and said DUDE! That's a dog, cool! Where did you get that? You have to reply to a dumb question with a dumb answer so I said "On Aisle 3" and he says "Ooooh" like he believed me. LOL. I hope he didnt actually go and check aisle 3!!
Ooh, Miss Hallie! I don't think even with $50,000 lights your momma could get better piccies of you. I don't believe you could possibly have a "bad picture"! I'm willing to bet the curler thing in a photo would be adorable.
