....I had my last class last night. I did really well. I won a prize for the most "sits" and "downs" in a minute. I did 8 combos in all! And I got a toy with a squeaky in it. I also got a certificate for completing the class AND a special sticker on my certificate for not missing a single class.
While we were waiting for class to begin, and young boy was talkiing to me and giving me little treats. I really liked him. Mom asked him his name and he said "Noah." Mom asked him if he was here to build the ark, and he laughed and laughed. Its been raining like mad in our area. At class we could hear it just pouring down on the roof. It was a real test for the roof, which did not spring a single leak! Our instructor was very happy about that as its a brand new facility!
Misty is going to go to school next. Her class begins in November. She and Alex are already learning to sit on command!
Patty here: We are getting SO much rain still. I don't know what the folks in the already-flooded areas are going to do. The Borough road that our pioneer road takes off from is under water. The road that Dan built (the pioneer road) is draining just fine, though, but we still have to go down the Borough road about a block to get to our road. Its the pits. We'll trade you guys some rain for some heat and sun!!!

Our land is the high point in the area, our house is up on a knoll. We don't have to worry about our house getting flooded.

Hope you all are staying as dry as you can. We can definitely use the rain down here! It poured on Monday for about an hour and of course by that evening, there was not a drip of water anywhere!
We will GLADLY take some of your rain and send you our 90+ degree weather. We can't seem to get a break! It has been HOT this summer.
