Of course the first thing out of their mouths was, "Another dog, are you crazy?" I said yes, crazy about dachshunds. Minna promply jumped into my mom's lap and gave her a kiss. My mom said that if she didn't have her dog hating cat, Hershey, she would scoop Minna up and take her home with her. I'm glad she has the cat, cause I didn't want to have to fight my mom for Minna. LOL! My dad was sitting there watching her and then says, "Bring her over here to me." and when I did, he sat there with her in his lap and he was cooing at her. I was all worried for nothing. Once my dad understood that I didn't pay any money for her (can you say tightwad) he liked her even better. I talked to my mom after they got back home today and she was asking all kinds of questions about Minna and saying how cute and sweet she is. Whew! My mom did say that me not saying anything about Minna before they saw her was probably a wise move on my part. Thanks for everyone's support.
