Porky: When wez got home from da auction yesterday, we was dissappointed. As we were trudging into da house, we heard a growl...Den we seed it!! Dat BIG possum was caught in our live catch trap. Wez had to call the game warden to come and get em. He was huge though!! Momma and daddy sayed they neber seed one so big! The game warden was surprised too. He took it away carefully and almost got bited 3 times by dat fing!
Momma sayed to tell you all that our auction didnt go well yesterday. Nobody eben showed up :cussing:. Also wez are getting tired of all the 'pairmen in our house. The guys working on the soffit work are still here, and wez arent sure when theys nonna be done. Plus on Tuesday we got more 'pairmen coming to work on da heat afore winter. That will take a week. (Inside the house) UGH!!! Wez just want to have our house back.
Sure glad that you caught that old possum !!!! What were you selling at the auction? At least your house will be all in order for winter - hang in there!

We were trying to sell our house that we moved out of in May. It is a very cute house, so we were disappointed that no one came to the auction. However, our auctioner didn't advertise it very well. Also there were a bunch of county fairs in our area starting. We did have a few people interested, so our realtor is calling them to see if they want to make an offer. :xfinger: Hope it sells soon!!
Yes, thanks for asking. All our tummy aches were better Sunday morning. Porky's bumps were from mosquitoes. I'm still not sure what made us all sick. No one else from the picnic got sick. Oh well, I'm just glad to better.
Yes I am really glad our rental house will be ready for the winter. I was just frustrated with the guys working outside. They were supposed to have the job finished on Thursday and as of today, still are not finished. They have a different job to go to so they are sending a new crew to finish. Hopefully it will be done by Monday. THey tore apart our upstairs deck (took the railing off) and took off our satellite dish and outside lights. So...we have no use of our deck, no tv, and no lights at night. They could have least put those things back up.
