I came across this old photo sequence from about 3 years ago, two babies lost out on the ice cream. Lookit how short Hallie's hair was. Time goes waaay too fast!

It really does seem like yesterday! Funny how Hallie was SO bald when the pups first came, she almost looked like a smooth, and Sophie had the prettiest curly ears and nice hair. Now I think Hallie is hairier than Sophie!
You're right. Sophie has lots of hair on her ears, paws and feathers, but she has never developed the longer flowing hair on her sides or tum. Hallie has very luxurious tresses.
I remember that series, poor Haillie, "just one lick" .
we have an ad on /TV for a family meat pie with a springer spaniel looking up and you hear him say just a little leave me a little then they put the plate down and all that's left is salad.
We were talking about Oliver the other day as I was looking at his photos when we got him and he was nearly a short hair, not that he is high in th ehair stakes now.

It almost pains me to see good ice cream go to waste these days, but what an adorable photo set!
I love how the little girl looks at the empty cone with a "What the?" look BUT Hallie is looking where the ice cream iS! :angel4:

As dachsie owner and parent, I can empathize with both protagonists in this tale of woe.
Speaking of ice cream....Wed. night after our regular club meeting a bunch of us from the kennel club decided we needed some ice cream. The soft serve place has free pup cones but after the 20 or so that they gave out in 15 min that night they might rethink that. :crazyeyes: My 2 loved them ...of course Zena was so enthusiastic that she is wearing it on her side since she grabbed the ice cream and threw it in the air. It hit her on the side and landed in the grass but she cleaned it all up. :thumb:

LOL !!! Bet they will close up fast when they see your group coming - HA !!!! Kidding....they shouldn't offer it if they didn't expect you to take them up on it !!! I laughed out loud at Zena......and her joy at getting the cone !
