Hi All, I got an email from Krista and I thought I should check in. Things have been crazy for us with lots of fosters and our business.
Even the kids have been busy.
My son Jeremey has a new girlfriend and although he decided he didn't want kids and took care of that his new girlfriend Becca has two. She doesn't have custody yet but she's working on it. So I am a Grandma! I am crazy about Becca and the kids. :heart:
My daughter Jessicca is now a licensed counselor. She gets her Master's Degree in psychology the end of this month. YEAH! All these years of school have finally paid off. :hello2: She is now interviewing for her first real job. SO everyone send doxie rays and prayers that she lands a good one. Jessicca has also started coming home one weekend a month so Frank and I can go away and have some no dog time. I love my dogs to pieces but I am loving our little weekend getaways.
Our business was slow for a few weeks but now we are back to being covered up. It has still be hard collecting money, which is the part I hate the most. Also Becca has started helping out some in the office which has been a great help to me. Gas prices has hurt a business a little but not as bad as 2000.
My S-I-L (Darlene) has moved here also. They are living in our old house and we have been helping them out a lot. We just helped them get a roof on the old house and get the plumbing fixed. I hope that we are done now with that for a while. My M-I-L (Erma) was here but she's in Texas at her other daughter's house right now. She is suppose to be back this weekend then she is going on to Ohio to get rady to move back here. So I have to help Darlene find Erma an apartment quick. :BangHead:
Fostering has been BUSY I have had a lot come and go in the last few months but I have also have some I can't seem to find the right home for. Sully the blind double dapple puppy has been here since Jan. I have Blackjack and Jackpot the Chiweanies that have been here since November. Daisy has been here a while but you may have read that she's moving to Kelly in IL. My newest are Tinkerbell, a red smooth girl and Sandy a tan wire girl. Both girls are about 5-6 years old and get along with the other dogs. Billy is still here and I finally told Frank that we just need to adopt him. There is no one else out there that will love him and put up with his biting like we will. So we will pay his adoption fee in September and it will be official. :apls: www.drna.org
We did sell our camper and buy a motorhome. We have taken two trips in it and I love it and the dogs seem to love it. The first one Frank went with my Friend Mary and I to Chattanooga for a DRNA meeting and the picnic that's over that way. Then I drove it to Oklahoma City with my friend Mary, Jessicca and Becca. We went to Cesar Milan, the dog whisperer's seminar.

I miss you guys and I hope to get back to posting more often. I have had some health issues but they have worked them selves out. So hopefully things will get more back to normal. Slurpy hugs and kisses from Tofu, Siggy and Billy B

Hi, Sue! It's sooo good to hear from you! It sounds like you've been very very busy lately! I saw all your fosters on the DRNA website - what a bunch of cuties!

Good to hear from you, Sue. Sounds like your life has been super busy and full of a lot of good stuff. You're a grandma! Its great to hear that you love the kids and your son's girlfriend. Is there the possibility of them getting married? Take good care of yourself, and check in when you can.
Oh, I heard that Kelly was getting Daisy, that is wonderful. Kelly is such a good doxie mom!
