Porky here: Ouchie my ear sure hurts! :bandaid: Those mean, nasty flies are biting like crazy this year! I have a spot on my ear with no hair on it at all and it is chewed raw. It had a scab over it now so they quit biting that spot, but it sure is sore. Momma has tried to keep inside a lot to keep them off, but it hasn't helped much. I been eating lots of them when I see them, but I guess there's still a bunch cause they keep biting me. All you doxies- EAT MORE FLIES!! :wink:
Is there a insect repellent for dogs? I am really trying to help Porky keep away from those flies, but they are just so nasty this year! Not only am I concerned about Porky being in pain, I am also afraid of him getting horrible scars from them. They bite so hard it leaves large sores and spots where there is no longer hair. Our neighbors are having the same issue with their animals so any suggestions you have for insect repellent will be spread around the neighborhood!
I am sure that the stuff that is used on horses would work. We are having a fly problem outside bur not the ones that bite. I would go to like a feed store where they have stuff mainly for horses and see if they have anything that work. Poor Porky boy :comfort: I will :xfinger: that thoses nasty flies go away
