Hello! How are all your puppers today? GReat I hope! I get to take care of my little granddog Hemi from July 17-23!! :thumb: Jessica and her family are going to Bend, Oregon for a family reunion w/ Keith's family. I suggested that he might be a bit young for a trip like that and then having to deal with all those people and that I would be MORE than happy to take care of him! Keith said that I was right and that Hemi should stay with us!!
Here's a short video of the Golden pups...they are almost four weeks old now! A few days ago they all started eating gruel...with help. This video is of the first time they ate it w/o any help! As you watch the camera will pan to the left and Martha says, "There's the other bowl. Let's see if they find it." or something like that. When she pans to the other bowl the one pup on the left w/ the yellow mark on her neck is our Katie! My favorite part is watching the pups clean each other off!

How sweet. It reminds me of those days, long ago, when we had puppies in the house. I love the one that decided to stand in the middle of the pan of food! I think Katie was being quite polite and quietly eating her food without bothering anyone else. They are growing so fast and look so sweet. I know you can't wait to go get her.
I'm sure you and Hemi are going to have a blast and we will get to hear lots of stories while you have him. He'll also get you ready for Katie when she come home. Enjoy!

Teresa...the puppy in the middle of the pan is Emmy...the runt! Four days after she was born Martha gave her some Bach Rescue Remedy and within 24 hrs she was thriving and hasn't quit! She is going to a gal on our forum who recently lost her 7 month old Golden, Copper Penny, to heart issues. So far three of the pups are going to forum members! And we are all taking females! The remaining female is going to a 'Baby Boomer' couple who live close to Martha and have always wanted a Golden! The biggest male, Moses...so called b/c he parts the puppies when he walks into the group :wink: ... is going to a widower who has been alone for six years. We are all SO glad he is taking Moses...Moses will be good balm for him and will help him heal. And, as one gal said...Goldens are 'chick magnets'! lol
I am REALLY looking forward to having Hemi here. I know he will miss his family but he will be much better off here w/ Appy and Papa! He's such a sweet little fella...sometimes I fear he kind of gets lost in the shuffle of Jessica's household...three kids, 8,6,4, and a husband recovering from surgery...Ty, the oldest adores Hemi and it seems he looks out for the little fella. I will take lots of pictures and share them with you while he is here! His nickname is 'Hemi-Cuda'!!
Thanks for the updated video. I like the shot of the two in the corner by the pipes who are licking each others' faces. I'm going to be lonley without my pups this week as I've got to go to FT Knox and can't take them with me.
