and, btw, have you seen the original "Return of the Pink Panther'?  There is a scene where Peter Sellars is checking in at an inn and asks the proprietor if his dog bites.  The innkeeper says no, and Sellars bends down to pet the b&t wire!  It snaps, and Sellars says, " I thought you said..." and the proprietor says, "It's not my dog."  I was howling and Brekke was so puzzled!

I loved it and after a busy and long day at work, even though we get off early on Thursdays, it was the perfect thing to see.
DeeDee, I've got an idea. I know you aren't going to want Hallie doing anything to strenuous when she is back to normal, but I think the two of you should learn to dance like this. She can just skip the jumping part. As easily as she learns stuff and as well as she listens to you, I think you'd make a perfect team! I can just see it now.....

Gee, Teresa - great minds think alike!  I was sort of pondering that myself.  A routine I saw done with a golden, had no jumping, so that would be most suitable for Miss Hallie and DD!

okay, Dee Dee, what do ya think about it???? I'm sure that right now you are thinking more about tomorrow morning (for which we will all be praying), but once its over we want to know your opinion on the dance idea.

Now that you are much relieved and Hallie is mending, I had to move this post back to the top so that you would see it. Julia and I both had the great idea that you and Hallie could do this instead of some of your competitions!! What do you think???
P.S. If you haven't already, you need to check out the post about "giving your doxie a bath" It is a great one, too, for making you laugh!

Ha that is adorable!!! I love how he runs backwards between her legs. Cute cute!

Have you seen how I'm built LOL. It would be like little Hallie having to dance with a stork!  They would bill us as "Mommy Long Legs and the Munchkin". I actually have some coordinated friends who do freestyle like this with their dogs and it really is very cool! Have you seen this one

I love it when the dog kicks his back legs over the guy.

It does look like fun doesn't it. I'm afraid Hallie's day for something like this is over, even the doxie one without the jumping is a lot more strenuous than I will ever let this kid do again. Walking and slow trotting will be enough for my nerves!
