Story about me that my Hoomans would like to share:
Roscoe had back surgery after becoming completely paralyzed in the rear last November. He is now about 95% and can walk and run with relative ease. He has some nerve damage, but it does not hinder him very much. Even now he has gone back to his old favorite trick of opening the back storm door and letting himself out into the backyard. He learned that if he pressed his front paws on a particular spot and pushed his weight against it, the door would open. The other two dogs cannot do it, and usually Roscoe is the only one that makes it out the door before it shuts when he does it. He gleefully runs around the yard chasing some invisible critter while the other two bark inside. It is a sight to behold.

Oh Roscoe, you sweetie! I'm glad that you're doing so well after all you had to endure with your back surgery. Chilie thinks your door opening trick is really cool. She wishes she could do that; can you teach her? Belly rubs to you on your special day!
P.S. Do you still like to suck on Gwennie's ears? I thought that was so cute when I visited!

Sorry I missed your DOD yesterday sweet boy! I loved reading all about YOU! You are one smart boy opening the door like that! I'm SO happy that your back is so much better! Make sure that you get LOTS of extra treats today! Tell mama that DOD should be Dog of the WEEK for you! You deserve it!
