Thank you all for your kind words and support these last few days. I realize Kevin and I have been silent for over a week. I still find it hard to talk about Poldie, and I still do not know how to live without him. Your posts have helped so much, and we are very grateful.
We truly understand your silence. I tear up just writing this - I can't imagine what you and Kevin are going through. We are here when you are ready.
I second Barb's sentiments. Just know that when you are ready to talk we will all be here to listen.

I just got back from vacation and read all that has gone on with Leopold. I am so very sorry to hear that he passed away. You did everything right, in my opinion, and he knows that you love him. May he rest in peace.
I've been thinking of you all the time Jeri, I am so sorry. There really is nothing harder than losing our babies. But the great pain you are in reflects the great love you have for him, he was truly a wonderful gift. You guys are in my prayers.
When the time is right you'l talk. We all been there so take your time.
