Title: Pictures of my 3AM visitor!
Post by: TerriL on May 30, 2006, 04:48:13 PM
Here is a picture of the bird that invaded my bedroom Sunday night.  So far we have three little eggs!  I'll post some of the babies when they arrive!

We had Mourning Doves come and make a nest in a spider plant at our condo.   It became a birdie time-share as two pairs would share the plant.   One set would come in, raise its brood, and then a few days later, a second set would move in.   We'd go through two cycles per year...quite the Mourning Dove factory.

That's pretty cool.  I love to listen to the mourning doves in the evening as I sit outside in the garden.

You're not gonna believe this but that bird looks like one that made a nest in a hanging basket on my sisters porch railing last summer and had a couple of babies also.
