My goal was to get Treat Box 3C in the mail today....I didn't make it! It will be in the mail to the next lucky pupper(s) on Wednesday!
We have two graduations coming up in the next few weeks....our daughter graduates with honors from college and our oldest son graduates from high school. On Saturday, the college held a reception for the honor graduates and tonight, the high school held the honors/awards/scholarship reception. Then we have the two graduation ceremonies fast approaching and a graduation celebration that we are "hosting" for approximately 60-100 people. I am doing all the food for the party........preparing the trays of food, etc., etc.,.....but for the kids I'll do it with love. They are so awesome! Luckily both received scholarships for college - through the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation -- full ride scholarships...tuition, books, boarding costs for up to five years to any college of their choice. Cassie was a recipient the first year the Gates scholarships came to be and Tyler was also awarded the Gates scholarship so off to college he goes this fall.
So between work, business trips and planning a party and attending graduation events, my plate has been full! But we have the treat box almost ready and the promise is that it will go out on Wednesday!
Who will the lucky pupper(s) be????????????

Congratulations to you and your children for these major accomplishments. You must be so proud!
We are pretty proud of the kids. Two graduations within a week of each other can wear you out! Ha! With that, the two kids suggested combining their graduation celebration so that is the plan. Tyler also received two additional recognitions last night for his photography and writing. His photography is awesome and creative -- he wants to go into photo journalism. He entered a number of pictures in the state competition for high school photography -- those will be judged on Saturday. I'm so happy that one of the kids is pursuing photography -- it's a real passion of mine.
Wow - Congrats to both your kids and Woo Hoo for the scholarships - that is fantastic !!! You and Dave deserve a huge pat on the back !
Dang - don't wear yourself out....I am sure the furboys will keep the floor clean from crumbs as you are cooking !
