I'm so good at it that I taught Cocoa too! Now, we both can help ourselves to cereal, crackers and other neat snacks if Humom forgets to put on the baby locks! We are s-o-o-o-o-o smart!
Story about me that my Hoomans would like to share: Patches is a senior rescue. He traveled to us via the Dachshund Underground from his foster in Ohio to Maryland. Patches is a "people" dog. He's never met a human, large or small, male or female, that he doesn't like. Just "pet me!" "pet me!" and "I love you" he seems to say! I cannot imagine anyone giving up such a sweet and loveable guy as Patches; but I'm sure glad he found us.

Momma has been too busy at werk to read or post since Sunday evening. But, she shared your thoughts with me tonight!
Thank yew!!! I like my new home. They have lots of treats and walkies. When I got here I was thin and my black ears were leather-like with no fur. Now, Momma calls me "Velvet Ears" cause they are so soft and coated with fine black fur. She tells me I'm quite handsome now...although I lost a few teeth this past winter.
Yes, I got lots of treats. Gotta run now, Momma promised me some lap time.
