Sargey and Looie here: Guess what! We (Pop and us two doggities) got to meet Ellie and her momma, Ruth, from Montana today! They were on their way to visit grandbabies on the coast and they stopped at our house for a break. Mom was really bummed out cuz she couldn't get off work to visit for a bit -- she had meetings most of the day. Pop and Auntie Ruth had a very nice visit and Auntie Ruth got to talk to Mom on the phone. We gave Ellie the tour of our training ground -- she even talked with the four doggities next door (they is big guys). We sniffed out the garden and went hunting for the rascally rabbit -- but no rabbit to be found -- just lots of smells of rabbit. We were so happy to meet Auntie Ruth and Ellie. Miss Ellie is so cute, tiny and petite! Here are a couple of pics of Ellie and of Ellie and Looie. Thanks, Auntie Ruth for stopping by with Ellie so we could meet!

Ruth did call us last night from Moses Lake to say thanks for the recommendation of the hotel to stay at. She said their room faced the lake and there was a nice grassy patch right outside the door/slider for Ellie. Yea!!! A true dog-friendly hotel with a view! Dee

Dear Looie and Sarge ........... I like your house better than this house ..... over here they keep saying "No Ellie" ..... on the up side ... there are two little girls who turn two on Sunday ........ they leave lots of things on the floor for me and it's an easy score just to snatch something right out of their hands ... and under the dinning room table --- a WONDERLAND !
Thanks for the welcome to your home ..... and thank your Mom for the great suggestion for the motel, lots of grass and a LAKE too .... Mom now considers the best rating for a hotel is by how much soft , belly tickling grass there is available to do piddle on. Who would have thunk it? Luv, eLlIe
