Porky here- I went out to play at the farm and see my bestest friends Peter and Petunia...A.ka. Petey and Tuna( my kitties) and I smelled something real funny on the ground. While momma was filling up their food bowl I went exploring to find out what had invaded our farm. I walked behind the barn and saw my "tuna" laying on the ground.
I don't know why,but she wouldn't talk to me or play with me. I started howling cause she stunk real bad and I was sad she wouldn't play. I howled so loud, momma came running to see if I got hurt. As she turned the corner I looked at her face and it got real sad. Then I heard her scream for my hudad. He came running over and picked "tuna" up. They both started to cry. Then dad put her underneath some dirt. I really cried then. I even tried to dig her out, but momma kept telling me no. Momma told me Tuna died cause a coyote got her. I'm not sure who a coyote is, but I don't like him! Tuna just moved to the farm two days ago. All the way home momma kept saying, "its all my fault, if I weren't llergic they wouldn't have been out there." I'm not sure what that means, but I have been crying on her lap since. It seems to help her feel better to have me next to her. I really miss my Tuna. She to lick me and play with momma's shoes with me. We used to get in lots of trouble together!
Porky and humom and hu dad - I am so sorry for your loss. These things are so hard to deal with. Remember your friend with love and I am sure she will be watching over your family.
She will want you to celebrate your day tomorrow, but you can say a special prayer to her while you are enjoying the day.

Aw, so sorry about Tuna. That's so sad. Poor Porky knew his friend was no more. How sad for all of you. Please give Porky a hug from auntie Sandi and you get one too. :comfort:
Oh Porky...I'm so sorry to hear about Tuna. It's very hard to lose a friend.
Make sure that you cuddle an extra lot with your mama and daddy tonight. That will make all of you feel a little bet better.
So sorry about Tuna. It's never easy to loose them, but to loose them like that is the worst! Again, so sorry.
Aw! We're so sorry for your Tuna! We know you will be a big help to your momma, and she to you, as you mourn for Tuna together. :comfort:

that's gotta make ya feel pretty sh***y. I'm sorry this happened. Poor Tuna. Poor Peter. Poor Porky.
Thank you all for your support!! Our family is all doing a little better today. The great weather is really helping to lift our spirits. We are glad that Tuna did not suffer too badly as she died and that she died on the farm where she loved. We are comforted to know we made her happy by taking her out to the farm before she died. We're still sad, but doing much better today.
