Title: My Big Weekend
Post by: Etta21 on April 03, 2006, 10:20:27 AM
Dis is Bish here man did I haf a fun weekend! First momma gave me a bath...  to take  :bath2: warm water is my favorite! Then we went to gramma's house to see ma aunties Hunny and BG, then all eight of us (gramma, momma, aunt Inga, Hunny, BG, Joey -the big old fat cat and Sabrina-the black cat) piled into grampas tuwock (momma's is too small for all of us) and went to the vets! My anuties and the Kitties just needed their shots, but not me I got my lump checked  . Dr Gotz checked me over and said i was purrfect (as the kitties say) and then  :angry1: she took me to the  back and checked my bum glands  :eeew: betuz momma said i scoot ebry once in a while  :...: not pleasent at all  :angry7: . Momma sayz i haf to go back on Frydai and spend the whole day there, no hangin out with Flaca  :crybaby2: . After dat we went back to grammas and momma, gramma and inga left  so  i could play wif my aunties and when dey got back we all got "chocolate" covered cookies fo bing good an not makin a mess then we got to go - after cookies dat is, to the PetCo but dey didnt hab my good food so on da way home momma an i went to PetSmart I eben had enouf emergy to play wif a little gurl while momma talked to her momma I eben herd momma say i was gettin a sister in a couple of months!!!!! was i pooped when we left :sleepy2: i leepyed da whole way home.

Etta here so I am a little nervous about Friday, we decided to remove the lump under his arm even though it doesn’t hurt him and you can play with it and Bishop doesn’t mind. Dr Gotz said she is sure that it is nothing bad. But Gabe and I don’t want to take any chances so we are getting it removed and having a biopsy done on it. I know he is going to be in good hands but I am still a little worried, I don’t think it is cancerous b.c he got it right after he got his rabies shot (Oct. 21) and I have had the vets check on it quite a few times. I am just a worried mom what can I say. Well i have got to run hope you all had a great weekend!

Sounds like Bishop had a very active weekend!  How cool that you might be getting a sister soon!!!
I hope all goes well on Friday.  Its always worrisome when our little ones need to have surgery, and we've all been there.  We'll be with you the whole way, please keep us posted.

The best part was i got stuck in the back with all of the dogs Hunny (45lbs) BG (65lbs- but dont tell her she thinks she is as big as Bishop who is a whopping 11lbs) and I kid you not I have about 15 new brusies on my legs, why b/c you know i have the better window  . Julie- we will keep you in our thoughts &  's for Monday. If you dont mind my asking, what caused Sgt's lump? i will definately keep you all updated! Have a great day!

PS: Julie I love your quote "Dachshunds are like pringles..." isnt that the truth!
